Critically important question. the “pie in the sky” Amex cc sales-writers here at mms will tell you (from a post in 2016) that it’s really easy to find out…. Balderdash. You need to know the EXACT date you were APPROVED for the card (or transferred your SPG card over) …. and that’s the first date for your member & benefit years. (I resent especially that you have to call or secure message to find out this info…. It’s NOT available anywhere obvious on your account. Yes, Amex deliberately wants you to not be able to keep track of this date)

Unless this card is an exception, Amex priority pass doesn’t include restaurants. Only Chase-issued cards still have that benefit.

Does the AX Bonvoy Brilliant credit card $75,000 annual spend (Platium status) set your Marriott account day count to 50? – and then your actual day stays added to that 50 number? …so if your actual Marriott nights are 38 and meeting the 75K Platinum status (50 nights) you end up with 88 nights for the year? I can/t get that answered anywhere?

The Marriott credit card is a rip off. Too many restrictions. I tried to use my annual certificate for a free stay but could not because Marriott raised the number of points for a stay. For years I was able to book their 5 star hotel and now it’s good for only a 4 star level. I canceled my card. I’m better off using my card that is free and earns points for cash back.

In reply to James B.. There have been quite a few changes recently, but what you can do is look ahead to see what vacations you might have and where you might be flying to. This way you can get an idea of whether you can expect your Priority Pass to be useful.

We lost the bar in a Indy, but Italy was great,
